TEACHING EXEMPLARS
As the PI of IPD research team, I teach interior design as a process of making human experience visible: students learn to move from concept and evidence to spatial decisions, technical resolution, critique, and responsible use of emerging technologies.

SPATIAL STORYTELLING
-
In SOAD D 374-Vertical Studio, students translated design history into spatial storytelling through research, concept development, and custom VR experiences. The studio used emerging tools to communicate spatial experience, review scale and sequence, and test ideas beyond static drawings.
-
These teaching experiments connect directly to IPD’s mission to inform design practice, promote human-centered AI/XR research methods, and democratize emerging technologies in design learning.
